Well I knew it has been awhile since I had posted to my blog but I have to admit I was pretty shocked to see that my last post was 5 months ago!! So I decided the first step should be to redesign the site and get back into the saddle.
As you will see, I have created a poll along the side of the page that I will keep updated and should be a good gauge on how people are feeling on various education issues. Even if you do not comment on the site, please do at least vote on the topic at hand.

This site is basically going to be some rambling thoughts from a middle school science teacher. I want to share some insight in what it is like being surounded each day by the "hormonally challenged" and why I could not imagine doing any other job.

- Well in a nutshell I am somebody who left an eight year career in the high tech industry to try and inspire greatness in young teenagers. Not only am I crazy enough to WANT to teach middle school, but I am also in process of getting my Masters in Middle Level Education...I have to be committed to be doing that (either as in being "dedicated" or "hosptialized" - your choice)
